Jesus’ followers thought the cross was the end of their hope. But the empty tomb and His appearances revealed that He had physically risen, just as He promised. His death and resurrection fulfilled God’s plan to offer forgiveness of sins to all who repent and believe. Jesus graciously met Thomas in his doubt and invited him to
believe. Thomas responded, “My Lord and my God!” We are invited to remember His Word, examine the evidence, and regardless of questions personally trust the risen savior.
