Introduction

My Work Story

It's not about Ability its about Availability

We assume God uses the Capable, but really God uses the Available

Available = able to be used or obtained; at someone's disposal

Moses Stuttered

Joseph was a slave in a pit

Daniel was emasculated

David didn't Look the part

Esther didn't have access

Abraham was in the wrong land

Drawing 6 truths from Isaiah 6:1-8

Isaiah 6:1

1. Grief didn't stop Isaiah from going to the Temple

2. Grief couldn't stop God from appearing

3. God fills when God is Exalted

Isaiah 6:2–3

4. God's Glory was never destined to only be in His Temple

Isaiah 6:4–5

5. God's Holiness will always remind you of your inability and your flaws

Isaiah 6:6–8

6. God has the answer for your flaws, but what is your answer to His call?

Conclusion

Popular song in 1988 “Lord I’m Available to You”

Lord, I'm available to You. My will I give to You. I'll do what You say do. Use me Lord to show someone the way and enable me to say. My storage is empty and I am available to You. Now I'm giving back to You all the tools You gave to me. My hands, my ears, my voice, my eyes. So You can use me as You please. I have emptied out my cup so that You can fill it up. Now I am free, and I just want to be more available to You.

When we feel called, we often see what we are not, God sees who He is. Him plus anything is spectacular.

He made a donkey speak

He made an iron axe head float

He made a fish lunch multiply

He made an army of 300 defeat an army of 135,000

He made walls come down without weapons, just marching and shouting

He made a grave give up a body

He can make something out of you, if you let Him

Confession

Father God, I thank You, that if You can use anyone Lord,  You can also use me. Today, I make myself available. Not because I’m so special or grand, but because You are. And You live in me. In Jesus' name Amen.
