We all go through transitions
The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun,
There’s no morality expressed here, yet the glory of God is present in his creation
And,
“You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,
and the heavens are the work of your hands;
they will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment,
like a robe you will roll them up,
like a garment they will be changed.
But you are the same,
and your years will have no end.”
Everything God created (as great and beautiful as they are) will be changed, but God does not change
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
People think that God is a figment of our imagination, but the reality is we are a figment of God’s imagination!
When faced with opposition
Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.
Remember Jesus (the same man who walked with his disciples) is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
Jesus knowing that Judas would betray him, Peter would deny him, and the rest of the disciples would flee- loved them to the end and made his love known in them.
No matter how much we fall short, Jesus loves us to the end!

When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.
Some people say that the difference between the greek words here doesn’t matter; this is nonesense!
