morning rather than commenting on it?
2. In your own words define holiness?
3. In your own words what does it mean that God is holy (Psalm 145:17; Hosea 11:9; 1 John
1:5)?
4. What does sin do to man’s relationship with God (Isaiah 59:2; 64:6; Habakkuk 1:13; Romans
3:23; 5:8; 6:23)?
5. With the sermon series AWEsome in mind, why do you think we should reflect on the
holiness of God (Psalm 111:9)?
6. How should we respond to the fact that The LORD our God is holy (Psalm 99:1-9; Luke 5:4-
11; Revelation 4:8)?
7. Are God’s children commanded to live holy lives (Leviticus 19:2; 11:44-45; Romans 12:1-2;
2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:10, 14; 1 Peter 1:13-21)? Why or why not?
8. Is there anything presently in your life that doesn’t measure up to the holiness of God? What
are you going to do about today?
