The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
the righteous man runs into it and is safe.

Strong tower: protection from enemies that pursue us
The Lord is promising He will be this to us this morning.
Experientially:
To know something by experience
God desires for you to experience His manifest presence so that you are strengthened for the battles ahead. When you have tasted revival, or the presence of the Lord, it changes you and it changes how you experience the rest of life!
David – The Lord delivered me from the hands of the Lion and a bear surely…
His past experience of the manifest presence of the Lord to deliver Him from a lion and a bear served as his confidence in God before Goliath
Do you see the beauty of repenting in this way? – You get God’s nearness
Do you see the tragedy in not? – The Lord will forsake you
