Topic:  My God Can

Title:  My God Can – Missions to Kasambala

Theme:  My God Can – Missions

Verse:  Matthew 25:40  “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did to me.”

Object:  “My God Can”

Message:  Bring out a VERY decorated can called “My God Can”.  Talk about the things God can do.  Pull out a box of band aids.  Why would I have band aids in “My God Can”?  Wait for response.  The children should answer that God can heal.

Pull out the stethoscope.  Why would I have a stethoscope in “My God Can”?  Wait for children’s response.  They should say something about God heals and gives us people like doctors.

Pull out the children’s envelopes.  Talk about the mission for the summer is the Kasambala medical center.  Bring an envelope back each week and by the end of the summer, the total amount will be sent to this mission.

Let us pray.

Prayer:  God, thank you for blessing us.  We give to you to help others.  Amen.
