Da 6:10-28. Tony van Drimmelen. God wants us to pray. He commands us to pray. What does He look for in prayer? Daniel’s prayer life is a great inspiration to pray. At the height of his career and in a foreign country there was a law that made prayer illegal. But Daniel chose to obey God rather than man. In faith and by God’s grace he found the perseverance, posture and perspective needed to pray. He relied on God. We have to pray that way if we really want what God is looking for in our prayers. We learn so much from Daniel because he prays to the living God and He endures for forever (v.26). We’ll put into practice on Sunday night at our Prayer & Fellowship Service.
