Being conscious of each moment allows me to live a worry-free life.

Reflections on MY LORD and ME!
Please take a moment before studying this reflection to purge negative, distracting and disruptive thoughts by giving them to our Lord Jesus Christ through prayer ( ). I encourage you to review the “Self-Reflection Questions” at the end, there maybe some unexpected blessings! Enjoy God’s wonders...
A worrisome state is limiting. It prevents me from reaching my truest potential. Consciousness with each breath reminds me that I have the blessing of life. I feel a sense of gratitude and motivation. Even the toughest challenges are manageable when I choose to acknowledge my blessings. It is easy to feel panicked by having to make a tough decision at work, but I rise above the worry. Recognizing the opportunity in front of me gives me inner peace. Those tough decisions give me a chance to exercise my professionalism and authority. I resist the urge to cower from the fear of my colleagues' opinions. I confront the challenge and embrace my role through consciousness of my purpose. Challenges of tomorrow rarely affect my ability to enjoy today and be thankful. The present moment deserves my full attention and I commit to giving it. Reminding myself that I am unable to change past disappointments or control future situations is freeing. It allows me the time to live my current life without worry. My focus is on making the most of today and doing so with a light and free spirit. Today, there are twenty-four hours that I commit to making the most of. Maintaining consciousness of each moment is the way to personal victory. Living as those moments come brings me a worry-free existence.

Self-Reflection Questions:
1. How do I respond to unexpected circumstances? Scripture emphasizes the importance of putting one’s trust in God. This trust, which is nurtured by an understanding of God’s revealed truth, finds expression in a life lived according to his purpose. There are examples in Scripture of proper trust being placed in other people.

Grounds for trust in God in His power and strength:
Exodus 14:31 NASB95
When Israel saw the great power which the Lord had used against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord and in His servant Moses.
2 Timothy 1:12 NASB95
For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.
2. What inner adjustments do I make when I allow a situation to get the best of me? Trust nurtured by God’s revealed truth:
Proverbs 22:19–21 NASB95
So that your trust may be in the Lord, I have taught you today, even you. Have I not written to you excellent things Of counsels and knowledge, To make you know the certainty of the words of truth That you may correctly answer him who sent you?
3. What are some activities that keep me relaxed and at peace? Holding on to God’s promise: ;
1 Kings 8:56–57 NASB95
“Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised; not one word has failed of all His good promise, which He promised through Moses His servant. May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us or forsake us,
Romans 4:20–21 NASB95
yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.
