Today we start a two-month series we are calling – “this is us”.
Our goal in this series is to help you better understand the churches mission, vision, doctrines, distinctions, and values.
Along with all this you will also be introduced to a few members of the church as, they will be sharing their testimonies.
At the end of the series you will be given an opportunity to become what we will be calling a Covenant Member.
During the last Sunday of Sept, we will be giving you all a “This is us book” also known as a membership magazine.
This booklet will cover all we will be talking about as well as a membership form for you to fill out.

Alright with all that said let’s jump right into it.
Alright with all that said let’s jump right into it.
Today we are looking at our Vision and Mission.
Vision: What we desire to accomplish.
We desire to bring Life, Joy and Beauty to our communities and one another.
1.
This is our vision because it was the life of Jesus.
2. This is our vision because God has always called his people to be a blessing.
3.
This is our vision because our welfare is tied to the welfare of our community.
4.
This is our vision because it brings glory to God.
5.
This is our vision because God calls us to live in the miraculous
6.
This is our vision because we love our city and the people of our city!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our Mission: How we will accomplish our vision.
To lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ who, love God with all they are, love their neighbors as themselves, and joyfully serve the hurting and broken.
1.
We will bring Life, Joy and Beauty to our communities by helping people become fully devoted Followers of Jesus.
a. Followers not converts.
b.
A convert agrees to a belief system.
c.
A follower becomes like the one they are following.
2. Life, Joy, and Beauty comes through a Loving relationship with God.
3. Life, Joy and Beauty is transferred by loving our neighbors (enemies) as our selves.
4. When we serve others, it allows them to be open to the God (Holy Spirit) we carry within ourselves.
5.
By reproducing Followers of Jesus, we are making Life, Joy and Beauty Viral.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Final Thoughts:
This is who we are, this is who we are becoming, and this is who we will be.
When people speak of us as a church I want them to know us by our Love.
When people think about us as a church I want them to think of how we bring Life, Joy and Beauty to our city, family, and our friends.
When people speak of us I want them to think of God’s goodness.
If we all disappeared I want our city to miss us.
NCF desires to bring Life, Joy, and Beauty to our communities.
We do this by leading people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus who; love God with all they are, love their neighbors as themselves, and joyfully serve the hurting and broken.
