Sacrificing Beer

She told me we couldn't afford beer anymore and then I found she had spent $65 on makeup.

I asked her why I had to give up beer but she could spend money on makeup.

"Why, I use the makeup to make myself look prettier for you!"

Without thinking I replied: "Baby, that's what the beer is for!"
