Having Trouble Finding God !

Do you pray a lot but just don’t seem to get any answers? Do you ever wonder where in the world is God hanging out because I sure can’t find him? Have you ever been in an accident and prayed that everything will come out ok but it didn’t quite happen the way you wanted it to? Are you looking for a job and keep asking God for help but not getting any answers? Are you having trouble finding God?

There is a key to this and we all have it but we all don’t use it. Funny thing is this key also works in our daily relationships with our spouses, friends, and at our workplace. Hey fathers out there have you ever tried to teach your son or daughter a skill that you thought was easy but they didn’t get it and you got frustrated? That happens with God but thankfully he has a lot more patience than we do.

Hopefully you all are not getting to impatient with me but I am trying to bring some thoughts to the forefront so that when I reveal the scripture I want to share you will know where I am going with this. OK let’s open our bibles please to the book of Jeremiah. That’s right after the book of Isaiah and before Lamentations. Don’t worry I will give you plenty of time so you don’t miss a thing. Look at chapter 29 verse 13 through 14a. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord and will bring you back from captivity. ”
