Going and coming

1. Angels transport saints of God across the divide

Luke 16:22 NKJV

So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.

2. Saints arriving are welcomed by Christ

Acts 7:56 NKJV

and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

3. When saints arrive they are welcomed by Friends

Abraham was enjoying fellowship with Lazarus.

Jesus’ transfiguration story tells of the meeting of Elijah and Moses,

Fellowship with the saints of all ages waits on the other side.

This morning allow the tears of sadness to be met with joy of gladness as we look from the departure terminal to the arrival gate.
