This is for our own protection-We find guardrails at dangerous points on the road-on bridges, turns, major drop offs.

The New Yorker published an article called Mike Pence’s Marriage and the Beliefs that Keep Women From Power. In the article they called the Mike Pence Rule a guardrail that violates laws against discrimination in the work place.

Guardrails are always placed in safe zones

These guardrails are essential to maintaining a Christian lifestyle. The world loves painted lines—mere suggestions that can be crossed when those lines hinder a more progressive agenda.

What are guardrails?

Guardrails defined by Dictionary.com is- a strong fence at the side of a road or in the middle of an expressway, intended to reduce the risk of serious accidents.

In our Mike Pence illustration he protected the sanctity of his marriage by creating a guardrail that reduced the risk of a marital affair.

In order to make guardrails useful they have to placed within the safe zone of the road. This limits the car’s access to certain safe zone areas. This is a commonly accepted practice in vehicle safety because if the guardrail is placed in the danger zone one would be at risk of serious injury prior to being restricted.

The issue here is that our current culture doesn’t believe in guardrails. The were very few people who sided with Mike Pence or Billy Graham during this 2014 discovery. The mass majority of people mocked him and his Christian beliefs. The issue with this is that the same people also jumped on board of impeaching Clinton during the Monica Lewsinsky scandal of 1998.

The world wants:

Harvard Business Review wants “Healthy, mature, self-aware men that understand their distinctly make neural architecture”.

This type of man could only be found twice in history—once Pre-fruit eating Adam and During the time Christ walked the Earth. The other 99% of the male population have never reached this point of awareness.

Both Mike Pence and Billy Graham understood this concept: It is better to be criticized for being safe than being criticized for a sever moral failure.

What we are going to discover is that each one of us has a Predestined calling in our life. I want to scripturally prove that each of us has a scroll written about them in Heaven—We can call it the ultimate path.

Satan has not limited the amount of moral and spiritual dangers he can place in your life and he will use any way he can to derail your purpose.

Understand that because of human will there are things written we won’t know about until we stand with the Lord on Judgement Day.

Just because it is written in the scrolls of heaven doesn’t make it come to fruition through you on Earth. Just as we have a choice to protect our calling we have a choice to walk it out or not. You can be diligent in setting up guardrails, but never drive down the road.

To be physically awake and Spiritually alert. Peter is warning us of the coming distractions.

In this scripture Paul lists 5 steps on how to identify and birth the intentions of God .

All of your stress, anxiety, and fears are directly connected with being outside of the will of God. Proper guardrails will reduce if not completely eradicate those negative emotions. Finances are the leading cause of divorce in America—lack of guardrails around your finances led to poor financial steward ship.

Foreknowledge- Knowledge of things or events before they exist or happen.

What God knows he ordains-Which brings us to Predestination

But God will fill the void of fun with the manifestation of His blessings on Earth. You cannot out give God when it comes to Obedience of Scripture.

The Assembly of God doesn’t support predestination of People—to which I agree-BUT we can tell all though out scripture that are predetermined acts—The book of Revelation is full of things that have not happened.

Where Christians get comfort—You cannot mess up the will of God. Your obedience simply puts you in line with His will. Just because God foreknew your choice doesn’t mean he made the choice for you.

2) Closet Christians this is for you

We have studied obedience extensively when we studied the life of Abraham—Obedience determines your blessing-not your salvation.

a. To date I have yet to see guardrails installed in a garage.

That’s where grace comes in—now we know that a continual choice to be disobedient to God will remove your salvation, but a repentant heart and a willing spirit will bring you into agreement with God.

b. Mafia-Doctor—explain mafia and the doctor-I have yet to see a self centered Doctor live. Once the mafia realize who the doctor is the usually pin point them and secured them out and it isn’t the mafia that take them out—it’s the citizens or the world.

c. Salvation is a gift to be shared. You cannot actively receive the gift of Salvation and keep it to yourself. Look at the the parable of the talents. (Mathew 25:14-30)

What’s Predestination mean for those who accept what is Written for them?

What happened to the one who hid his talent?

plans to prosper not harm, to give hope a future.

What he had was taken from him and given to someone else. This parable is a direct reflection of foretelling of God. I get asked, if God can’t manipulate people into doing his will, how is he sure things will get done. Understand the task God wants done will get done—His will and plan will unfold—it’s just a matter of WHO is willing to be used.

With proper guardrails you can guarantee you will be ready when called upon to act. Mike Pence doesn’t have to worry about coming home and his wife being angry because the media twisted a harmless meeting into a full blown affair. Mike Pence can go to sleep at night knowing he safe guarded his marriage.

Just if I’d never sinned- It’s a legal term meaning rendered just or innocent

Not talking about Heaven, but rather one who fully integrates into what God has planned for their lives

Living the dream

Listen—When you begin to realize your story is already written and you are free to walk into the perfect plan for your life those trials don’t seem so bad because you can know that God already has the way out written.

There is a reason where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.

You are free to live in the divine call of Christ separate from hinderance, free, regret, doubt, worry.

This is the begging of learning how to unlock your Journey, Praying prayers that matter, and living life to fullest. I have toiled over preaching about fear, doubt, anxiety, depression and the stronghold of the enemy—But God has told me that this series will encompass those very issues because at the core of of those issues lies the greater issue—being outside of the will of God for your life.
