When you hear the word “change”, what first comes to your mind?
Is it the changing landscape of our culture?
Does it make you want to cringe and retreat to simpler times?
Or does it bring to mind the difference that Christ’s presence makes in your life?
More than likely for us as believers it may be a combination of all three.
This morning I want to focus on the last question using the scriptures to show how the “change” should be embraced and pursued as the fundamental product of the work God has done in us through Christ Jesus.
It is an avenue worth pursuing that leads to immense satisfaction for those who take it seriously.
There is a very popular gospel song entitled, “I Know I’ve Been Changed”.
