· 12 viewsPeter writes this letter to Christians who are scattered and he encourages them to stand firm in their faith. This is amazing when you consider that Peter used to be such a quick tempered guy. He actually even struggled to stand firm for Jesus. In a cowardly fashion, he denied Christ. He was also rebuked by Paul for acting with indifference toward gentile believers when he was with his Jewish Friends.
