Foundation Scripture: Genesis 12:1-3

I. God requires separation

A. A place

B. Family

C. Inheritance in this world (father’s house)

II. God grants vision

A. You can’t receive and walk in a vision without separation

i. Abraham separates from Lot (Genesis 13:14-17)

B. For a land “I will show you”

C. For sons and daughters

i. John 15:16 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”

D. For an inheritance in God

III. God requires separation and grants vision for a purpose

A. Great nation (church, 1 Peter 2:9 Holy nation)

i. Generations

1. Abraham (faith)

2. Isaac (promise)

3. Jacob (election)

B. Blessing

C. Name great (for God’s glory)

D. Be a blessing (1 Peter 3:8-9; Acts of kindness)

E. God will bless those who bless you

F. God will curse those who curse you

G. All of the families of the earth shall be blessed through you (evangelism)
