Foundation Scripture:  Matthew 4:18-21

I.          Jesus is passing by your life today

II.        Jesus is calling out for partners

            A.        Matthew 9:37-38  “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.  Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

III.       Jesus will make those who follow Him to become “fishers of men”

            A.        Everyone is fishing for something

            B.         Jesus is fishing for souls

            B.         What are you fishing for?

IV.       Types of fishing

            A.        Hook and line  - personal soul winning

            B.         Net – partnering together with a group of people to fill the boat (Lighthouses)

            C.        Networking – help fill someone else’s boat (Luke 5:1-11) (Lighthouses

V.        Jesus is looking for those who will follow Him.

            A.        To be a partner with Jesus, you have to leave something

1.         They left their nets

2.         They left their boat

3.         They left their father

4.         What is it that is holding you back?

            B.         To be a partner with Jesus, you have to follow Him

                        1.         Are you a fan or a follower?

                        2.         How do you know if you are following Jesus?

                                    a.         If you are becoming a fisher of men.

VI.       Jesus is passing by today and calling to you.   Will you leave your nets and follow Him?   Jesus will make you fishers of men.
