IV.       A Word to Mothers

A.                 Choose to be a mother (any female can have a baby)

B.                 Be a woman of God (2 Timothy 1:5 “When I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.”)

C.                 Build up your children (Proverbs 14:1 “The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands.”)

D.                Correct your children (Proverbs 29:15 The rod and rebuke give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.”)

E.                 Teach your children the word of God (Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

F.                  Teach your children manners and respect (Luke 2:52 “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”)

G.               Pray with and for your children (Galatians 4:19 “My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you…”)
