I. Jesus took time to pray

E. One of the ways that strengthen our faith is by praying - asking God to lead, to help, to open our eyes for ways that we can grow to love God more.
We pray for patients, content of our lives, and have a life of love and honor the Lord.
Part II.
When Peter saw the wind, he sink
A. Peter asked the Lord Jesus to command him to go to Jesus and he did.
But when Pete saw the wind, he sink.
B. The wind does not pull Peter but Peter respond to the wind by fear, lack of confidences, and confusion - These thoughts fear Peter not to have confidence in the Lord.
Peter sunk due to lack of faith in Christ but het let fear take over his life.
C. How Peter sunk but still ask for help, Lord, save me.
We are so Peter.
We are so crazy with our own purpose and selfish ambition.
We are so confidence with our sinful pride.
We are so Peter…But we are not like Peter in one thing, don’t ask the Lord to save us.
We need to be a little bit more like Peter, ask the Lord to save us at all times.

O you of little faith, why did you doubt?
We have little faith and we doubt much more than what others see in us.
We have doubt in ourselves and sunk before the game of life began.
We have doubt in our life journey that we lose heart before we start to work on our idea.
Little ideas takes many forms and shapes before it become alive.
It takes many years before you see fruits, it takes many sleepless nights before you see the whole picture come together.
So, Lord save me is our Peter life style this coming year.
We went through many hardship, lie, hatred, gossip about our good works, and many other patterns that threaten our security in the Lord this summer.
Let us know that we will see the wind of destruction coming toward us.
This too we will praise God.
Hurricane Harvey (8/26/2017 hit Texas) came toward Texas this past Saturday, many lives and thins that was build and created were destroy.
You and I will have other hurricane that will try to destroy your wealth, relationship, your love for Christ, your love for doing the Lord’s work, your love for sharing Christ with others.
You will see the wind coming toward you, against you, and it will lift others’ lives apart before your very eyes.
May you go to him, Lord save me for He alone knows how to save us in time of needs and in all occasions.
