PROPHECY | GIVING |
1. This is not the office of the prophet but the grace gift of prophecy2. They like to share truth, regardless of what anyone thinks3. They are motivated to confront anyone with what they believe to be true4. They often find themselves pointing the way, declaring specific truth, or taking a stand for righteousness5. They are a powerful tool to reprove, rebuke, and exhort others when controlled by the Holy Spirit6. In a word they are bold7. Weakness: Fighting with others8. Goal: Declare truth without dividing Christians | 1. They are seriously concerned about financial matters2. They also have the “gift of getting”3. They are very sensitive to how money is spent and saved4. They do not always give to the wheel that squeaks the loudest but to the wheel that truly needs the grease5. They have true financial insights6. They serve well on boards responsible for financial budgets7. They are usually conscientious and conservative8. They are concerned with wise stewardship9. In a word they are a steward10. Weakness: Being consumed with the power of money11. Goal: Genuine stewardship rather than financial harassment |

1. They serve faithfully behind the scenes.2. They are interested in blessing others to serve the Lord.3. They love to help others.4. They are motivated by a strong sense of need: “Someone has to do it.”5. They usually do what no one else likes to do.6. They usually do whatever is called for.7. They are flexible and adapt to many challenges.8. They simply enjoy helping others and meeting needs.9. They like to be involved.10. In a word they are selfless.11. Weakness: Taking on too much12. Goal: Keep service in balance with other important priorities | 1. They demonstrate an unusual ability to influence others2. They seem to have an independent determination to challenge and direct others toward a specific goal3. They stand out and take stands4. They tend to be multi-talented excelling with their people with task skills5. They are often results-oriented and driven6. They need to guard their strengths7. They need to be more sensitive and patient with those who don’t respond like they would like8. They are great motivators9. In a word they are a dreamer10. Weakness: Becoming too demanding and impatient11. Goal: Lead by example and willingness to be a servant |

1. While those with the gift of prophecy like to declare truth, those with the gift of teaching like to explain why it is true2. They are interested in research and dig deep into the details3. They enjoy presenting what they discover4. They are often negligent of other needs as they press toward deeper understanding of truth5. They love to study6. They sometimes miss the most obvious7. They stretch the limits of learning8. They like to set high standards for learning9. In a word they are in-depth10. Weakness: Digging too deep11. Goal: Reveal truth without exhausting it | 1. They demonstrate genuine sensitivity to suffering2. They are compelled to help reduce pain and suffering in people’s lives3. They are concerned more with the person than with the reason for their suffering4. They are very sensitive to the feelings of those who are hurt5. They like to “being there” in times of people’s need6. They are sympathetic (they are moved by another’s pain)7. They are empathetic (they feel another’s pain)8. While others may be more concerned with why, what, when or how, they are concerned with “who” needs care9. In a word they are caring10. Weakness: They are too sensitive11. Goal: Cultivate wise insights rather than foolish responses |

While those with the gift of prophecy like to declare truth and those with the gift of teaching like to explain truth, those with the gift of exhortation like to help people apply truth.5. They bless others with a strong sense of concern for them.6. Because of their strong desire to encourage others, they are often sought out as counselors7. They are friendly, understanding, and practical8. They enjoy using communication skills to share specific insights9. In a word they are an encourager10. Weakness: Being sought out often leads to self glory11. Goal: Teach lessons rather than focusing on your ability |
