Finding the Rock

Bethel (beth’-el) = House of God.

Dan (dan) = Judging; judge; he that judges; (root = to judge; to rule; to execute judgment; to contend).

Purpose is the great sanctifier

Jeroboam (jer-o-bo’-am) = Whose people are countless; whose people are many; the people have become numerous; enlarged; struggler for the people; a wrangler among the people; (root = to become many; to be multiplied into myriads).

Let the people contend; he will multiply the people.

Nebat (ne’-bat) = Aspect; an investigator; cultivation; (root = to look; to behold; to regard).

Behold; we speak idly.

Mesha (me’-shah) = Retreat; deliverance; freedom; (root = to recede; to depart; to remove).

Salvation.

Moab (mo’-ab) = Water of a father; i.e., seed, progeny; desire; progeny of a father; of the father.

Waste; nothingness.

So Mesha, when he acknowledged and honored the king of Isreal, was king over his flesh and carnality.

Trust in yourself with all your heart, and and lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways, indulge yourself, you will direct your paths.

So he makes HIS plan.

Whose plan?

His plan?

Then he works His plan; whose plan?

His plan.

Then His plan doesn’t work; whom does he blame; God.

FACE PALM

Jehoshaphat (je-hosh’-a-fat) = The LORD judges; i.e., he pleads for him; whom Jehovah judges; Jehovah is judge.
