Introduction Work Your job is ministry too I Tim. 2:5 There is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus! Eph. 4:11-12 God he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ! I Cor. 7:17 Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. This is my rule in all the churches. (20) Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called. (24) So, brothers, in whatever condition each was called, there let him remain with God. I. Have you found your job/profession that God put you in for His Kingdom Col. 3:17 Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him! James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given. I Pet. 4:11 Whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. II. Do you have balance in your life between your God, your family, and your job Rom. 2:2 (MSG) Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. III. God intends for every Christian worker to do that which will glorify Him I Peter 4:11b Whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. Conclusion Do we consider God our partner in our profession/work? Do we consider God as our supervisor in our work? DOES OUR WORK MAGNIFY HIM (He put us there!)
