6 Keys To Commitment: Quitting Is Not An Option

Commitment can be described and defined by a person’s ability to be loyal, faithful & dedicated to a person, purpose or priority. It also carries the idea of a person diligently sticking to a task until its completion. While commitment is a noble and necessary entity, there are many things that can hinder, alter or limit a person’s commitment.
In this lesson, we will observe how the great builder, Nehemiah, was able to discern, discover, develop, deploy and be dedicated to his commitments. Even in the most adverse circumstances, Nehemiah held on to his commitments and refused to quit his pursuits.
I. Being Burdened or Sincerely Concerned ,
A. Commitment accompanies a concern.
B. Commitment often includes a passion.
C. Commitment should include prayer.
D. Commitment should lead to a change.
II. Being In Right Company -1

A. God will place you around the right people.
B. Godly character will grant you the right access.
C. Giving consistency and trustworthiness will open unimaginable doors of
opportunity.
III. Being Able To Authentically Communicate
A. Transparency is often a key to destiny.
B. Ask God for relationships that allow you to be vulnerable.
C. Be clear on what affects you emotionally.
D. Be clear about your assignment from God.
IV. Being Consistent To A Plan That’s Clear ,
A. Determine what resources will be needed.
B. Don’t discuss your plans prematurely.
C. Do your due diligence and research properly.
D. Discuss the plan after God releases you.
V. Being Around Those Who Share Something In Common ; ;
A. God will send people who believe in the vision.
B. Give the people a voice.
C. Goals and tasks should be delegated.
D. Go forward with the same mindset.
VI. Being Determined To Live With Courage -15; 6:1-16

A. Commitments will always be challenged.
B. Commitments should lead us to watch, work & use wisdom.
C. Commitments will sometimes require us to fight.
D. Commitments based on God’s mandate will always validate themselves.
