Is Christ Enough?

People in this world are challenged with this question every day of our lives: “Is Christ Enough?”

Enough for my relational disappointments?

Enough when we feel lonely?

Enough when other people challenge your faith?

Enough when my questions are unanswered?

Enough when other people disappoint us?

Enough when life gets tough?

Enough when we face suffering for our faith?

Enough for our entire life?

Enough when nothing else satisfies us?

We are challenged - at Gallaudet especially - to decide for ourselves whether Christ is enough for our lives or not.

For the skeptics, I invite you to consider this question throughout the semester… can Christ be enough for my life?

For the Christians, I hope you will know how much I love and care to see you thrive at Gallaudet as students, and to encourage you during your journey.

Why Am I Thankful?

I thank God every day for this privilege to be here with you as you begin your journey at Gallaudet. We are walking miracles because God has reached down to us and transformed our lives by His love!

“For the hope” - I am thankful for Jesus Christ and the fact that some of you continue to hold onto your faith while you are at Gallaudet

For Christians who have already shared with you about Jesus before coming to Gallaudet.

Some of people who loves you have told me to get in touch with you because they care about you and want to see you grow in your relationship with Christ while at Gallaudet.

If you don’t know who Jesus is today, this is your opportunity to listen and find out more about this man.

How Am I Praying For You?

For you to grow at Gallaudet ()

For you to obey God every day ()

Live in a way that pleases the Lord everyday

How will I know I am living in a manner that pleases God while at Gallaudet?

Do good things to other people all the time

Stay grounded in the Bible

Continue trusting God with patience and joy when life gets hard

Be thankful for everything in your life - especially for being at Gallaudet during this season of your life

Conclusion

Is Christ enough for our lives? Only you can answer that. It is my prayer that through our study we will experience God’s love through Christ in new ways.
