Hebrews 10:22–25 KJV 1900
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
THERE EVER WAS A TIME WHEN BELIEVERS NEEDED TO COME TOGETHER, IT IS TODAY. INSTEAD OF CHOPPING EACH OTHER DOWN, WE NEED TO DRAW TOGETHER IN
BELIEVERS NEEDED TO COME TOGETHER, IT IS TODAY. INSTEAD OF
CHOPPING EACH OTHER DOWN, WE NEED TO DRAW TOGETHER IN
LOVE AROUND THE PERSON OF CHRIST.
IT IS INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT THE EMPHASIS HERE IS NOT
IT IS INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT THE EMPHASIS HERE IS NOT
ON WHAT A BELIEVER GETS FROM THE ASSEMBLY, BUT RATHER ON
WHAT HE CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE ASSEMBLY. FOR YOU SEE
FAITHFULNESS IN CHURCH ATTENDANCE ENCOURAGES OTHERS AND
PROVOKES THEM TO LOVE AND GOOD WORKS.
WE NEED TO BE EXHORTING ONE ANOTHER. WE NEED TO STUDY
THE WORD OF GOD TOGETHER. DID YOU NOT KNOW THAT GOD HAS
SOMETHING FOR A GROUP THAT HE WILL NOT GIVE TO ANY ONE
INDIVIDUAL. ONE REASON I LIKE TO TEACH THE WORD OF GOD IS,
BECAUSE GOD WON'T LET ME GROW IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIS
WORD UNLESS I SHARE IT. MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS WE ARE NOT
TO FORSAKE THE ASSEMBLING OF OURSELVES TOGETHER. IF YOU
HAVE A BIBLE STUDY AT YOUR CHURCH, YOU OUGTH TO GO FOR
THERE IS A BLESSING THERE FOR YOU THAT YOU CAN'T GET AT
HOME, STUDING BY YOURSELF.
YOU NEED TO COME OUT TO GOD'S HOUSE WHERE THE WORD
OF GOD IS BEING PREACHED AND TAUGHT. FOR THE BIBLE SAYS IN
FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE
Romans 10:13–16 KJV 1900
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
LORD SHALL BE SAVED. 14) HOW THEN SHALL THEY CALL ON HIM IN
WHOM THEY HAVE NOT BELIEVED? AND HOW SHALL THEY BELIEVE
IN HIM OF WHOM THEY HAVE NOT HEARD? AND HOW SHALL THEY
HEAR WITHOUT A PREACHER. 15) AND HOW SHALL THEY PREACH,
EXCEPT THEY BE SENT? AS IT IS WRITTEN, HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE
FEET OF THEM THAT PREACH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, AND BRING
GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS! 16) BUT THEY HAVE NOT ALL
OBEYED THE GOSPEL. FOR WHO HATH BELIEVED OUR REPORT. 17) SO
THEN FAITH COMETH BY HEARDING AND HEARDING BY THE WORD OF
GOD
