Make up your Mind
Make up your Mind
It was a day when you think about you cannot forget. It was a day on the Hill of Mount Carmel when there was a gathering of the minds.
The servant of God named Elijah. We ahve those who have already made up their minds to follow te evil who are called the 450 prophets of Baal and we have the other group who have not decided who there were going to worship, who they were going to serve. They could not decide if they were going to worship Baal, or worship the God of their fathers.
No different, we are struggling with a generation who has not decided fully who they are going to serve. We have a group who does not deal with organized religion, and are refusing to trust in the Gods of their fathers, and their mother, and yet have not fully sold out to the devil and all of his imps.
We have on one side of this decision making process nothing new. Joshua asked the people to choose this day who they were going to serve, adding as for him and ghis house He was going to serve teh Lord. We have to make a choice. Moses told the childen of Israel you have to choose between life and death, and then reminded them or tather gave the strong opinion that they hould choose Life.
You can tell those who have not fully made up in their minds that Jehovah, God is the only true and living God. You can tell because they are in one moment and out the next. You can tell because we are full of excuses about why we cant, and why we wont, and what is stopping us sfor fully selling.
Secret and half hearted followers of God
They were between two opinions.
Procrastinaters, double-minded men, undecided persons
They thought worshipping both God, being polythiest, one who believes in many God.
if God be God follow him, serve him but if not We must have one or the other. No man can serve two masters. If God be served, he will be a master., and if the devil be served he will not long before he will be a master.
They cannot cohabitat, they cannot coexists,
How much time do you want. How long will you halt between two opinions.
How many more sermons have to be preached, how many miracles do you need to see. how many sicknesses, how many family members have you buried, how many hurricans and tordadoes and fire storms do we have to encounter. How many car wrecks
Try to be religious, but you have no heart for God. You are half on thing and half the other.
he knew that they were wavering because he tells them to follow him. There would be no need to tell a man or woman to follow if that is what they were doing.... The tet implies that it could tell that they had not put the presence, ove o God into practice.
Truth is not changed by our opinion. opinions have influence upon conduct, and therefore if a man or a woman has the wrong opinion they will also have the wrong conduct.
