In order to follow Jesus, we need to view Him as having the ultimate authority in our lives.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

We try to build to attract

we build new modern buildings

we build cool programs

we build awesome events

There is nothing is wrong with any of those things if you do them in conjunction with Jesus’ command to go

We substitute “come” for “go”

3. It’s a Heart Problem

English Standard Version Chapter 28

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

This is what we would call discipleship

Discipleship does happen during preaching but it mostly happens during life

It has to be intentional...
