Grace in Time of Need 1 John 1n9 Heb4n16
Grace in Time of Need
Hebrews 4:16, 1John 1:9
Hebrews 3:12,14 “Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end.”
Unbelief causes us to be removed from the benefits of Faith (the Active Living God not just our status with Him – in fact we should not rest comfortably in our status if He is not living and working through us. Work now so we can enter His rest later).
Unbelief displeases God, Faith pleases Him.
Hebrews 4:1 Fear, lest we come short of any of His promises. Promises are not icing, promises are vital! It is essential that we embrace all His promises in Faith. They are His provision for the Vision! We are Blessed in order to Be a Blessing! His resources and blessings in our lives have a purpose, they are the equipment that we need to live a victorious life on every level in the Kingdom of God.
Hebrews 4:16
Throne (power, Authority) of GRACE (unmerited power) A particular grace or power for a particular need.
1 John 1:9
That if we confess our sins, he is faithful and JUST to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
2 Corinthians 5:16-21
"Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."
I am the righteousness of God in Christ, not just forgiven for the past but created for a new future.
