Intro.

Intro.

A couple weeks ago.. head heart hands.
Love of God overcame my fears and my desires to fulfill most fleshly, sinful desires (heart)
That heartfelt experience of His rescue motivates me to DO things in see for him. (Hands)
As I began doing things I realized I needed to learn how to do things better. I needed to know Him better so I applied myself to learning more about Him, who He is, and what He would have me do.
My walk has not been like that everyday. Sometimes like David I have begged and whined because I wasn't feeling it.
I knew he loves me. I knew enough to, at least intellectually, not turn away. But without the emotion, the passion, the zeal, it was difficult. But our knowledge is hopefully enouph to get us through these times. (Head)
But if there is one thing I know, it's that when the going gets tough, the tough get going. (Hands) and as we apply what we know to be right things to do... Feeling will follow.

EXPLANATION

* That's what James is... It rips the truth right to the core. We read it and learn then apply our hands to the doing of what is right irregardless of everything else.
* This book tells us what it really is to follow Him, what things should be happening in our lives and what things should not be happening in our lives.

PS

Today we look into this book and engage our mind, taking a good look at what it says our hands should and shouldn't be taking part in, and as we line up with His words we will find a passion that will motivate us through this difficult world.

My dear brothers and sisters,

Remember we are in this together.
