To Know God - Jesus Christ is Perfect Theology

TO KNOW GOD   JESUS CHRIST, PERFECT THEOLOGY John 14:9 NLT Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you? John 14:6 NLT Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. We cannot get to the Father unless we go through Jesus! And we can not please the Father unless we have the attitude of Jesus Philippians 2:5–11 NLT You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Romans 12:1 NIV Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. So if we want to know God we do it through Jesus, and to truly know Jesus we need to have the attitude or mind Jesus You can’t know where you are going unless you know what you are doing, and you can’t know what you are doing unless you know who you are. Jesus knew He was the Way to the Father because He knew He was bringing the truth. He knew He was bringing the Truth because He knew He was the Son that came to bring life not death! (The Way, the Truth, and the Life) The Perfect Way Jesus led people to the Father cause that where He was going. To His rightful place next to the Father. And they want us their too! Seated next to Jesus in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). Where we can take hold of every spiritual blessing and use them where the need is here in the natural (Ephesians 1:3). The church is the gate that opens to the Way! The Perfect Truth Are you ready for the ultimate TRUTH? … For God so Loved the world that He gave... Unconditional, unconquerable, undefeatable! This truth belongs to us, the church, the truth of God’s love! … it is virtually unknown to the outside world. This ultimate truth can only be shown and expressed through us, the church. The Perfect Identity Jesus knew who He was by what he heard not by what He did. Luke 3:22 NLT and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, “You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.” When we know who we are and who’s we are, we will be able to respond to everyday situation the way Jesus did. Jesus’ response to problems - Jesus healed all who came to Him, no exceptions. He also healed all the Father directed Him to heal - Mark 7:24-30 - Jesus stilled every life-threatening storm that He encountered - Mark 4:37-41 Whatever you think you know about God that you can’t find in the person of Jesus you have reason to question. Jesus Christ is the fullest and most precise revelation of the Father and His nature that could ever be made known. Jesus’ response to disease - If Jesus healed everyone who came to Him, and the Father wills for people to be sick, then we have a divided house—one that, according to the teachings of Jesus, cannot stand (Matthew 12:22-28). - Consider this: Many have been trained to embrace disease as a form of suffering for which we gain favor with God. If we can legitimately do that with sickness, we can do it with sin. Jesus paid the same price to render both realities powerless—see Psalm 103:3, Isaiah 33:24, Mark 2:9, and James 5:16 Jesus Christ, the model for life - As perfect theology, Jesus illustrates the will of God. He models how life is to be lived modeling the reality of His Kingdom. Bless what He blesses Matthew 5:44–45 NLT But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. Matthew 5:48 NLT But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. The emphasis in the command to be perfect is not on a flawless moral nature but on an all-inclusive love that seeks the good of all. Instead of following the example of sinners who love only those who love them, we are to be like the Father in also loving those who do not love us God is God and does as He pleases. Jesus perfectly represented this and we cannot afford to not enjoy the goodness of God. It is the cornerstone of all theology.
