God saved the Israelites from slavery so that the could worship HIm. He saves us from slavery to sin and death for the same reason - so we can worship Him.
Moses had an unexpected encounter with the true and living God... and we're reminded that He uses ordinary people like Moses... and like us... to fulfill His purposes.
