1 ELIJAH THE Tishbite, of the temporary residents of Gilead, said to Ahab, As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, before Whom I stand, there shall not be dew or rain these years but according to My word. 2 And the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 3 Go from here and turn east and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, east of the Jordan. 4 You shall drink of the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there. 5 So he did according to the word of the Lord; he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, east of the Jordan. 6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening, and he drank of the brook. 7 After a while the brook dried up because there was no rain in the land. 8 And the word of the Lord came to him: 9 Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you. 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. When he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her, Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. 11 As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand. 12 And she said, As the Lord your God lives, I have not a loaf baked but only a handful of meal in the jar and a little oil in the bottle. See, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it—and die. 13 Elijah said to her, Fear not; go and do as you have said. But make me a little cake of [it] first and bring it to me, and afterward prepare some for yourself and your son. 14 For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: The jar of meal shall not waste away or the bottle of oil fail until the day that the Lord sends rain on the earth. 15 She did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days. 16 The jar of meal was not spent nor did the bottle of oil fail, according to the word which the Lord spoke through Elijah. 17 After these things, the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, became sick; and his sickness was so severe that there was no breath left in him. 18 And she said to Elijah, What have you against me, O man of God? Have you come to me to call my sin to remembrance and to slay my son? 19 He said to her, Give me your son. And he took him from her bosom and carried him up into the chamber where he stayed and laid him upon his own bed. 20 And Elijah cried to the Lord and said, O Lord my God, have You brought further calamity upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? 21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times and cried to the Lord and said, O Lord my God, I pray You, let this child's soul come back into him. 22 And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah, and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived. 23 And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the [lower part of the] house and gave him to his mother; and Elijah said, See, your son is alive! 24 And the woman said to Elijah, By this I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.

Tell Three people whatever you do don’t miss your Miracle
MIR'ACLE, miraculum, from miror, to wonder.
1. Literally, a wonder or wonderful thing; but appropriately,
2. In theology, an event or effect contrary to the established constitution and course of things, or a deviation from the known laws of nature; a supernatural event. Miracles can be wrought only by Almighty power, as when Christ healed lepers, saying, "I will, be thou clean," or calmed the tempest, "Peace, be still."
Events which unmistakeably involve an immediate and powerful action of God designed to reveal His character or purposes. Words used in the Scriptures to describe the miraculous include sign, wonder, work, mighty work, portent, power. These point out the inspired authors' sense of God's pervasive activity in nature, history, and people.

“And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book, and found the place where it was written, ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are downtrodden, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord” ()

There are several Reasons Why We have the potential to miss our miracle so pay close attention

I. Every Miracle Has A Destination:
(AMP) 10 Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored and you shall be clean. 11 But Naaman was angry and went away and said, Behold, I thought he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place and heal the leper. 12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? May I not wash in them and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. 13 And his servants came near and said to him, My father, if the prophet had bid you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much rather, then, when he says to you, Wash and be clean? 14 Then he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, as the man of God had said, and his flesh was restored like that of a little child, and he was clean.
(AMP) 6 When He had said this, He spat on the ground and made clay (mud) with His saliva, and He spread it [as ointment] on the man's eyes. 7 And He said to him, Go, wash in the Pool of Siloam—which means Sent. So he went and washed, and came back seeing.
Verse 2 And the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 3 Go from here and turn east and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, east of the Jordan
Verse 8 And the word of the Lord came to him: 9 Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there.
Many have failed to arrive at the correct coordinates and therefore they where unable to receive their miracle..

a. God sent Elijah to his enemies home town, where idolatry was strong and where his enemy would never look for him..
And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.
And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.
25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; 26 But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

Tell Somebody thats cuter than you, the Lord nows how to hide me!!!
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

Verse 4 You shall drink of the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there. 5 So he did according to the word of the Lord; he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, east of the Jordan. 6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening, and he drank of the brook.
Listen the Lord sent a dirty bird to bring him meat and bread twice a day for close to a year,
If that an’t a miracle not sure what is…. Yet everyday crank-ti-fied folks turn their nose down to potential blessings and miracles that God presents to them…
But Wait…. I know sisters who will turn down potential saved male candidates & brothers who turn down potential female candidates because they don’t dress or look the way they imagined their husband or wife should look like, My husband is going to be wealthy, good looking and take good care of me.. AND I believe God for you sister, but what if God presents you with all the ingredients and its up to you to make miracle…

It’s Up to you brother to make a bride or bridezella, A rose garden or a thorn bush..
verse 9 Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you. 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. When he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her, Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
So God sends him to enemy territory not to the most wealthiest widow but to the most poorest, how could she provide for him…
Because she didn’t have any resources her faith was fertile… Had he asked someone with money to sacrifice their last, they would have cussed him out. Because wealthy folks forget who gave them the wealth. That’s why the only time they will give is when they have an audience. But I know some folks that have limited resources but they are always trying to figure out how they can help the man of God fulfill his assignment.

So I learned not to be impressed with Church folks that have the nicest cars and live like ballers most of the time they are the stingiest givers. There faith isn’t in God it’s in there possession’s. Thats why Jesus was more impressed with the women he give a two mites.
And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, 2 and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. 3 So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; 4 for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God,[a] but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.”
(AMP) 20 The young man said, I have observed all these from my youth; what still do I lack? 21 Jesus answered him, If you would be perfect [that is, have that spiritual maturity which accompanies self-sacrificing character], go and sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven; and come, be My disciple [side with My party and follow Me]. 22 But when the young man heard this, he went away sad (grieved and in much distress), for he had great possessions. 23 And Jesus said to His disciples, Truly I say to you, it will be difficult for a rich man to get into the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go into the kingdom of heaven.
Come On tell somebody with ashy lips never judge a gift by it’s wrapping paper..

7 verse After a while the brook dried up because there was no rain in the land.
What do you do, when you’ve done all you can do to live right, live holy and your brook dries up?
That child you gave birth too and you have invested all your love & resources into, and they act as if they could care less, and they are more attracted to what you have been trying to keep them from.
Come On tell somebody with ashey lips never judge a gift by its wrapping paper..

(Your Brook has dried up)
That job you where blessed with, that has taken you away from your family & your faith in God. And after all those years working like a run away slave no sick days no vacations & your told your services are no longer needed.. And your kids have grown up with out you, your marriage has out grown you & you never grew up spiritually.
(your brook has dried up)
You said I do and meant it, but your partner didn’t, and you have turned down so many better opportunities to be stuck in a unfruitful, unfulfilling relationship with someone that has no drive, no purpose and no get and go.. ( your brook has dried up)
Your single and in your 30’s or 40’s and always imagined you would be married with children at this stage in the game & your biological clock is ticking real loud in your ear… (your brook has dried up)

What I Love about Elisha he was able to go with Gods Flow.. Never 2nd guessed him he knew when to stay put and he knew when to bounce and reinvent himself..
He didn’t limit himself to his regional boundary of Blessing, But when his Brooke dried up he moved to his next miracle.. It is possible to go from grace to greater grace, one dimension to a greater dimension,
tap someone that needs a breath mint and tell them
I am looking for my next miracle.
There is a reason why some people get to certain place and never move, grow or progress any further..
It’s called satisfaction, But is there anybody in here besides me that realizes my miracle has a destination and I got to get their before its expires…
Let me prove this to you, a ministry can be extremely cutting edge and relevant in that City, state & region.. And get to a place where they feel they have arrived and in their own mind they have. But in reality they could be ill-relevant and a thing of the past.
And when they come to the reality that they are a thing of the past and attempt to get the glory back they are unable, why because miracles have an expiration date.. And there time has past..
You see it with performers who stop in the middle of great success, and try yrs later to re-kindle the fire and never can make a hit record again..
What Ever You Do.. Remember two things
Where Your Miracle Comes From
Make Sure You Don’t Miss Your Miracle..
My Bonus Point (you can sow a seed if you like)
Sometimes God places you around a person that starts out blessing you, but all the long it was a set up for you to be a blessing to them..
Remember what I said at the beginning when I gave you the purpose of miracles
