One of the most important intentional choices one ever makes is to choose to see spiritually. Whereas 2.3% of Americans have a physical impairment of blindness, we all have a spiritual impairment of blindness. Being able to see spiritually is simply a choice to see with the eyes of faith from the perspective of God’s truth.
Seeing spiritually is not a matter of the eye but rather a matter of the heart and mind. Note this scriptural warning: Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. (Rom. 1:22). That is a warning to those who claim to ‘see’ but do not actually see things as they really are.
