THE CLOUD OF CHANGE

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

God will not rest until every last spec of dust in the universe is transformed and redeemed....

Change

What a wonderful change in my life has been wrought since Jesus came into my life.

so many songs about how we are changed.

That idea is in danger of being lost in Christendom

We prefer cleshas like:

I’m not perfect, just forgiven

Everybody knew you were not perfect

We may not have been sure you were forgiven

But we would like to see some evidence that a great change has come in your life!

Yes! We do change!

If your presence is not life giving....

Human transformation requires human cooperation in grace....

Cooperative Effort

Cooperate with grace

Asking God to change our actions and speech

Let my little light shine!

Matter Matters:

We anoint with oil

We pray over clothes

Nature participates in grace

God is not just redeeming your spirit for eternity, He wants to redeem your body.

Two things we don’t like about death:

Corpse and Ghosts

We like our bodies to have spirits in them

We like our spirits to have some flesh on them

That’s the way god made us. He made us body and spirit.

He brought us together....

Entering the Cloud in trust that I will be different when I come out of the Cloud.
