Audience: The Children of Israel. They are exile in the Babylon. And why are they slaves, captives and prisoners of war in Babylon, because of their rebellion, disobedience and failure to make the Word of God a priority in the life.

God is judging Israel because they consistently violated and rejected His covenant. .
