This week, we grieve another senseless national tragedy, as a domestic terrorist opened fire on 22,000 concertgoers in Las Vegas.
In the light of such unpredictable violence, it's easy to retreat further into our shells, to trust nobody. We don't want to be vulnerable, to be hurt. Over time, it’s easy to get jaded or even cynical.
But true depth in relationships – true intimacy – requires us to be vulnerable.
