Introduction

Title - The Power of One Voice
My observation of the present time
People are becoming more vocal and outspoken - of their needs, their rights, their concerns, their religious beliefs
People are uniting (joining) their voices together
People’s joined voices are being heard
Where is the voice of the people of God among these?
Where is the Bride of Christ today?
Religious unions have been active for some time. They are being heard, and they are becoming a force in the society.
The Bride of Christ has remained a silent voice up to the present time. We are not heard. We are unheard of!
Note - In the beginning, the church was a powerful group in Jerusalem, and everywhere the apostles went. In the early decades of 20th century, the end-time message was a powerful influence among churches and ministries.
The churches in the message have succumbed to divisions because we focused on doctrinal issues, fanaticism, and personal grudges.
Note - religious unions or ecumenism is NOT a biblical unity.
My Main Points in this Message
We have a message to proclaim
We are living in the time of the “Shout”
We can unite our voices together!

Main Points

We have a message to proclaim

Christ commanded us to proclaim the Message of the Cross
Matthew 10.27
Matthew 10:27 NKJV
“Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.
Don’t stay in the dark; don’t keep silent!
Whatever you have heard from God, proclaim it!
Acts 1.8
Acts 1:8 NKJV
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
You have been empowered by the Holy Spirit so you can be Christ’s witnesses as far as time and opportunity will permit.
The Message is a “midnight cry”
Matthew 25.6
Matthew 25:6 NKJV
“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’
The problem is - those who have received the Message have stopped the momentum of the gospel in their lives!
Some are not aware that they are supposed to “relay” the message of salvation to other people.
Others have deliberately stopped.

We are living in the time of the “Shout”

The “Shout” is the first event in the return of Christ.
1 Thessalonians 4.16
1 Thessalonians 4:16 NKJV
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
(See illustration)
The “shout” - began with the Midnight Cry (WMB’s ministry) and continues to this day
The “Voice of the Archangel” - will be the time of the utterance of the “Seven Thunders”
The “Trumpet of God” - will be the time of the raising of the dead in Christ, by the voice of the Son of God.
Reality Check - the Bride is not living the “shout” event or ministry. Why?
We are tied down by earthly “cares”
We are busy with internal fightings
We are are not united internally.
Even a powerful nation or empire will crumble when there is internal disunity.

We can unite our voices together!

United Voice is powerful!
Jesus was voted out by the voice of the masses to be crucified!
Matthew 27.21-26
Matthew 27:21–26 NKJV
The governor answered and said to them, “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” They said, “Barabbas!” Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” They all said to him, “Let Him be crucified!” Then the governor said, “Why, what evil has He done?” But they cried out all the more, saying, “Let Him be crucified!” When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it.” And all the people answered and said, “His blood be on us and on our children.” Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.
the citizens of Ephesus were in uproar over Paul’s testimony
Acts 19.25-29, 34
Acts 19:25–29 NKJV
He called them together with the workers of similar occupation, and said: “Men, you know that we have our prosperity by this trade. Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands. So not only is this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the temple of the great goddess Diana may be despised and her magnificence destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship.” Now when they heard this, they were full of wrath and cried out, saying, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians!” So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theater with one accord, having seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul’s travel companions.
Acts 19:34 NKJV
But when they found out that he was a Jew, all with one voice cried out for about two hours, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians!”
Israel bound themselves into a covenant with God
Exodus 24.3-8
Exodus 24:3–8 NKJV
So Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, “All the words which the Lord has said we will do.” And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord. And he rose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel. Then he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord. And Moses took half the blood and put it in basins, and half the blood he sprinkled on the altar. Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.” And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, “This is the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you according to all these words.”
Israel joined together in worship to celebrate the rebuilding of the temple
Ezra 3.10-13
by singing responsively, praising and giving thanks to the LORD
they shouted with a great shout when they praised the LORD
others (the older men) wept with a loud voice
the shouting and the weeping have blended together
THE SOUND WAS HEARD AFAR OFF!
Ezra 3:10–13 NKJV
When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests stood in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the Lord, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel. And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever toward Israel.” Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. But many of the priests and Levites and heads of the fathers’ houses, old men who had seen the first temple, wept with a loud voice when the foundation of this temple was laid before their eyes. Yet many shouted aloud for joy, so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people, for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the sound was heard afar off.
the church joined together in prayer
Acts 4.24, 29-31
the raised their voices to God in one accord
the asked for boldness in proclaiming the Gospel
the house was “shaken”
THEY WERE ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
THEY SPOKE THE WORD OF GOD WITH BOLDNESS
Acts 4:24 NKJV
So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,
Acts 4:29–31 NKJV
Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
Paul’s prescription is very important
1 Corinthians 1.10
1 Corinthians 1:10 NKJV
Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1. speak the same thing
2. be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment
United voice is the result of united mind and judgment.
First, we must be united in mind and judgment
Then, we will attain a “united voice”
“perfectly joined together”
grk. KATARTIZO
The same with “equip” in Ephesians 4.12
Ephesians 4:12 NKJV
for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
THIS sameness in mind and judgment can be ATTAINED under the leadership and working of the FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY
According to WMB - 5-fold ministry is the Joshua Ministry (after Moses)

Let us be united under the Joshua Ministry

Paul’s prescription was manifested in Israel under Joshua.
Israel joined their hearts and minds under the leadership of Joshua
Joshua 1.16-18
Joshua 1:16–18 NKJV
So they answered Joshua, saying, “All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go. Just as we heeded Moses in all things, so we will heed you. Only the Lord your God be with you, as He was with Moses. Whoever rebels against your command and does not heed your words, in all that you command him, shall be put to death. Only be strong and of good courage.”
Israel shouted with one voice under the same leadership
Joshua 6.16, 20-21
Joshua 6:16 NKJV
And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: “Shout, for the Lord has given you the city!
Joshua 6:20–21 NKJV
So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword.
the people heard the sound of the trumpet (the plural becomes singular!)
the people shouted with a great shout
THE WALL FELL DOWN FLAT!

Conclusion

It is time we are joined in the same mind and judgment!
the “mind of Christ”
the judgment of God’s Word
It is time we are speak the same thing
It is time for God to hear our united voice in this place!
It is time for the enemy to hear and see that we are united in this place
LET THERE BE ONE VOICE AMONG US FROM NOW ON!
know that when we are united, our one voice can
shake this place and give us boldness in witnessing for Christ!
make walls fall down flat before us!
