5 Blessings we receive when we become Christians John 20:29 Jesus said to Thomas, “Have you believed because you saw Me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed!” I. We get forgiven of our sins FOREVER! II Cor. 5:17 If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come. Heb. 9:7 I will remember their sins no more. II. We get adopted into the ROYAL HOLY FAMILY! Romans 9:4b And to them belong the adoption. Romans 8:23c We wait eagerly for adoption as sons! III. We then receive the FAVOR OF GOD! II Cor. 6:2c Now is the favorable time; behold now is the day of salvation. Luke 10:20 Rejoice that your names are written in Heaven. John 14:27 Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you!” John 15:11 Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” Jer. 1:8b Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you! John 14:21 Jesus said, “He who love me will be loved by my Father!” IV. Happiness regardless of the CIRCUMSTANCES Ecc. 11:9 Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. II Peter 1:10b-11 If you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the enternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. V. A guarantee of a home with JESUS FOREVER! John 14:3 Jesus said, “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.” Matt. 19:21 Jesus said, “you will have treasure in heaven!” II Cor. 5:1 We know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building in heaven from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in heaven.
