1 Vision 2017: Let 2 1. Korah, leader of the rebellion, and Moses were both descendants of Levi. Numbers 16:1a 2. They literally conspired, they got right in the face of Moses. Instead of going to him privately with their concerns, they accosted him in public ridiculing & putting him down, opposing him. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. 3 1. These men were in the highest order of the Levites as they were assigned to carry the holy objects of the Tabernacle. But that wasn't "good" enough for them, they wanted more but that was not the plan, the destiny God had for their life. 2. When they didn't accept it, things did not go so well for them. 4 What right do you have to act as though you are greater than the rest of the Lord’s people? 1. Paul said to Timothy quoting Moses, verse 19 But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and “All who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil.” 2. Instead of Moses coming against this rebellion, he immediately turned it over to the LORD who had called him and assigned him as Leader of Israel. Numbers 16:35Then fire blazed forth from the Lord and burned up the 250 men who were offering incense. 5 6 Hebrews 7:25Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. NKJV 7 Revelation 8:3Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. NKJV 8 9 10 11 12
