VALUING THE PRESENCE OUR DNA

2 Corinthians 3:16–18 NKJV
Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

To have an intimate relationship with the Father
Water.....Drink continually from the living water and share it with someone else.
MORE THAN PREACHING
We mainly focus on preaching.  Rightfully so. Revivals have always birthed bold preaching
Most of us were saved by good preaching
   We have many good preachers
We can turn to good preaching on radio and many church channels
Honestly it is on demand - you tune in to those you like and you can turn it off it you don't
church has become a customer service experience
Many revivals powerful preaching bringing people into repentance Never want anything to undermine the bold and powerful preaching of the gospel...
ASK YOURSELF What are you doing with the diverse and exhaustive knowledge you have heard?
What are you doing with the diverse and exhaustive knowledge you have heard?
It should equip you says as a minister who reflects His image not just knowledge
It gives you a fuller and deeper revelation that does a work in you mind - heart - body
God want us to be his kingdom of kings and priest
until all come to the knowledge of Christ
Most people I talk to honestly come with need and problems and if you don't think you have need and problems that is the problem
Why did Jesus come?
Encapsulated IN LUKE To redeem us to restore us. It is more than just information
Luke 4:18–21 NKJV
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

To proclaim the gospel But also heal broken hearts Restore sight to the blind
To proclaim the gospel
But also heal broken hearts
Restore sight to the blind
Set captives free Release oppressed

To those who are hungry and know their need. To be grateful to the Father and know that every need they have he will supply
It is hard to be hungry when you are satisfied!!!
So many hurting
Poverty - disease - disaster. Do you know what is greater volume than cancer HIV?
Greater than poverty?
NEW MISSION FIELD Mental and emotional disorders!
Addiction is the # 1 cause of death.
# 2 suicide
MANY TIMES IT IS AN ENCOUNTER WITH HIS PRESENCE THAT IMPACTS.....EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO PREACHING
Luke 5:1–11 NKJV
So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret, and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him.
When Peter put it out such abundance that it almost sank the boat
Peter drops to his knees ...depart from me.
Note:  he drops to his knees in confession of his sins and repentance and Jesus preached no sermon at all
He has displayed his manifest glory and power - manifest in love and grace

HE FOLLOWED THE VOICE OF GOD…DO ONLY WHAT
Jesus also used other methods to bring people to relationship.
The key is He was so connected to God had pure motives and did only what he heard the Father say..... What to do what to say...
Mary, martha, Lazarus - they were wealthy. He never told to sell to give to the poor like the rich young ruler.
He always knew what buttons to push -Jesus always targets the heart of an individual

NORMATIVE FOR CHURCH
1 Corinthians 14:24–26 NKJV
But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you. How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.
