Longevity
When I think of the honarable Jessie W. Owens one word come to my mind.
‘ LONGEVITY.
Merian Webster defines LONGEVITY : a long duration of individual life
OR THE length of life .
tHEN I BEGAN TO SEARCH FOR THE why? OF LONGEVITY.. i discovered my answer in the word..
Because all that I need is in the Word of
God..
The Word is full of admonitions for the reader to gain long life…(1) In (NIV)
b :length of life
6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—3 “so that it
may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”[a](2)
New International Version (NIV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
My Conclusion; If you
desire longevity of life(1) obey your parents (2) believe in Jesus in seeking a intimacy with him; Then you will not only have long life on earth; you will gain
eternal life.
God Bless you..
