Restoration

James 4:7–10 NIV
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
1.Submit to God: so humble yourselves before God.
Job 22:21–25 NIV
“Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you. Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart. Luke 9:23 NIV
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

2 Timothy 2:22 NIV
Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Wash your hands and purify your hearts cause your loyalty is divided.
Romans 12:2 NIV
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Psalm 51:10 NIV
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Grieve and mourn and wail for your sins: let there be tears for what you have done.
Psalm 38:18 NIV
I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.
Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up in honor.
Proverbs 3:5–6 NIV
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Colossians 2:6–7 NIV
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
