Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.
Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

This theme is in the five books.
1-3 = half of the book of Psalms. Covenant made with David.
Book 1 =
The covenant is inaugurated and confirmed.
The covenant is inaugurated and confirmed.
Psalm 2:
Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.
You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”
David here is taking care of the ones who cannot take care of themselves.
Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.
I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me.
David is the blessed man of and the reigning King of .
At this point everything is going as planned. David delights in God’s word, and is anointed as king,.
God’s covenant is being fulfilled....
In Book 2= the monarchy is transferred to Solomon.
Other sons from David thought they were supposed to be the next king. There was a covenant with David and could this be transferred.
Kingdom is successfully transferred to Solomon...
As David took care of the afflicted, now Solomon is taking care of the afflicted ones with justice.
In book 2, kingdom is successfully transferred.
BOOK 3 =
You said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David my servant,
Psalm
Once for all, I have sworn by my holiness— and I will not lie to David—
that his line will continue forever and his throne endure before me like the sun;
it will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.”
There is no more David, no more throne.
You have renounced the covenant with your servant and have defiled his crown in the dust.
Lord, where is your former great love, which in your faithfulness you swore to David?
Book one shows us a covenant’s beginning and established then transferred. Suddenly God’s former great love is not seen.
How can we live without a King?
BOOK 4 and 5
FAITH & HOPE
Book 4 = Ps. 90-106
Live by faith!
The Lords reigns!
Live by Hope!
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it.
Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.
Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.
The Divine King is coming!
Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy;
let them sing before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples with equity.
BOOK 5 =
Hope for the Messianic King = a DIVINE KING
Prayers for the King
Preserve Davidic line, his descendent...
“Here I will make a horn grow for David and set up a lamp for my anointed one.
“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them.
He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David
People were living in keeping with the book of Psalm in terms with living in Faith and Hope despite their circumstances because a King was coming.
How do we live without a King? Faithlessly, hopelessly...
Jesus is the Son of David, the King of Israel.
For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
Jesus is bringing his kingdom back in its fulness....
“Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”
