Ephesians 2:8–10 ESV

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:

I have to believe I was dead in trespasses and sins.

I was a good sinner.

By nature children of wrath

“Even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ - by grace you have been saved.

Grace: goodwill freely disseminated (by God); especially to the benefit of the recipient regardless of the benefit accrued to the disseminator.

When I think about his Grace Vs. My struggle…

1 Corinthians 6:9 ESV

It’s funny how Paul list these struggles but says “nor men who practice homosexuality.”

He did not say have feelings of being a homosexual but those who practice homosexuality…

Every practice is based from a feeling…

James 1:13–14 ESV

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.

How to respond to his grace -

Colossians 3:5–10 ESV

Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming. In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.

Put to death - Stop completely

Seeing you have put off the old self with its practices

Put on the new self - dress oneself, wear clothes
