In the passage, I’ve just read from Corinthians. what it says, in short, “what’s ultimately important at the end of the day is Faith Hope and LOVE…. LOVE being the most important.” We have just had a tribute about from Allan’s Son and a beautiful poem read by Allan’s daughter, which speaks of the kind of person Allan was. A loving husband and father and friend.
In a sense, Allan lives on in his Children - Chris and Shona and in his Grandchildren. He also lives in on in your memories, you will always have them with you. But the Christian hope is that Allan will live on in another place called ‘Heaven’ – we don’t know what that looks like because none of us have been – but our faith says it will be filled with love.
