From Boy’s To Men

Everyone of us will be confronted to face our fears in the Kingdom Of God, Being A Male doesn’t automatically make you a man in my personal opinion.

I have known 50 year old boys..

I was 26 years old When I became A Man..

And I had to slay my goliath

Every day it would taunt me,

Let me ask you this, what are you afraid of?

1 Samuel 17:8-

Satan taunts the men in church with the 3 P’s

First Pee, rymes with venus

The Lack of self control with men concerning sexual involvement, entrapment, seduction has gotten worse.

But I’m a Man Of God… I’m a Bishop.. I’m a Prophet.. I’m an Apostle..

But you been married 3 times and none of your wives are dead..

And It’s a Problem with the P.. nudge somebody with ashy elbows and ask them you still struggle with that???

Wait it’s spiritual Incest..

When a Brother sleeps with a his sister or brother in Christ...

And thats why we can’t defeat Goliath..

2. The Second Pee we struggle with is Purpose..

1 Sam 17:17

So David just needed tomato sauce and would have been delivering Pizza.

1 Sam 17:20-

David has the ability to assign his task to others when given a new assignment.

(thats what men do) manage responsibilities.

The text says he is carrying gifts, When your confident in PURPOSE you can carry someone else gifts..

1 Sam 17:28

The giant will use your family members to have you 2nd guessing your purpose..

See if we are going to walk in Authority we must have clarity of our Purpose..

Ask your neighbor that needs a mint.. What’s Your Purpose?

David tells the King don’t worry about this Philistine.. ( I will go fight him)

Purpose will have you going after what others run from..

Saul says your only a boy!! theres no way you can win, he has been doing this since he was a youth..

David said so have I, Listen your life is your resume.. and the things you have been able to overcome happen because of what God has next.. (So Understanding Purpose is Key..)

You can ignorantly be placed in the presence of the King and treat him like the court jester.

When purpose is pouring its because God places greeter in your presence to expose you.. for better..

Do you recognise the greatness of others.

To the point you realize that it requires you to sow up into them???

He’s like King let me kill him for you

3. Pre-destination: the doctrine that God has ordained all that will happen, especially with regard to the salvation of some and not others

David already had the oil on him from his visit with Samuel

It was Clear he was anointed to be the next King..

But what wasn’t clear was how would it happen..

He is given the opportunity to wear the armor of the King Of Isreal.. Know thats a great honer to fight for the king and wear what the king would wear if he had the courage to fight the giant.. See Godly Men that walk in Authority fight there own battles so when their sons grow up they won’t have to deal with those some demons..

Because of the pre-destined plan for David he was unable and unfamiliar with Sauls weapons..

He had never fought in them or perfected them.

(tell someone use your weapons wisely)

See I am from the Hood, i hustled in the hood, i did my dirt in the hood, i earned my street credit in the hood.

But when God saved me he took me away from my hood and sent me to another hood that i wasn’t familiar with In another city.

God had me on stratford ave witnessing to drug dealers and users, in the homeless shelter speaking to battered women and folks with mental health issues, he had me in the BCC ministering to brothers who where locked up.

I had no clue that God Pre-destined me to be doing this, but it makes sense.. can’t use the weapons my spiritual father is good at using, because the generation that He is reaching looks different than the one im called to pastor.

And Listen my giant don’t care about what domination i am part of, how many members i got on a Sunday morning, what platform im preaching on in 2018.. he only care’s about am I relevant enough to snatch people out of hells fire....

And I am here to look you in the face and tell every man in hear, your job is to take goliath DOWN....
