Imagine, if you will, a world that is dominated by righteousness.
A world where there is no injustice, where no court ever issues a unjust verdict and where everyone is treated fairly.
Imagine a world where everything that is true, just and right mark every aspect of people’s lives; including interpersonal relationships, commerce, education and government.
Imagine a world where there is complete, total, enforced permanent peace, where joy abounds and good health prevails so that people live hundreds of years.
Imagine a world where the curse is removed, when the environment is restored to the pristine purity of the Garden of Eden.
Where peace reigns even in the animal kingdom.
Imagine a world ruled by a perfect, glorious ruler, who instantly deals with sin.
Such a world may seem very far-fetched, but such a world is coming in the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ.
“Millennium” is a latin word that simply means “a thousand”.
So when we talk about the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ, we are talking about a kingdom that will last for a thousand years.
Now, that too may seem far-fetched to some that there will be a kingdom that will last for a thousand years, but remember what we have told you many times during our study of the book of Revelation.
So a thousand years in the economy of Christ is nothing, it is as a day.
he restored and radically restored earth of the millennial kingdom will constitute paradise regained.
Six times mentions that the kingdom of Jesus Christ will last a thousand years.
There is no reason not to take that as a literal one thousand year kingdom of Jesus Christ.
This is a fulfillment of both the OT prophets and the teaching of Jesus Christ himself.
The OT prophet Samuel mentions the kingdom in .
The Psalmist, David, mentions the kingdom of Jesus Christ in .
The OT Prophet, Isaiah, mentions the kingdom in .
The OT Prophet Amos mentions the kingdom in .
The OT Prophet Micah mentions the Kingdom in .
The OT Prophet Zechariah mentions the Kingdom in .
Jesus Christ taught the kingdom also in and in .

The fall interrupted God’s creation blessing and mandate for mankind.
Because of his disobedience, Adam could no longer exercise his vice-regency in the way God had intended.
Any exercise of that original dominion became and continues to be incomplete and imperfect.
The psalmist refers to that high and lofty role

The Millennial Kingdom will bring of all that back.
Now, there are several differing views of the Millennium and different aspects of interpretation.
The aspect that I believe lines up with the Biblical text is Futuristic PreMillennialism.
Futuristic PreMillennialism affirms the futuristic view of Daniel’s seventieth week, that we will look at in a moment.
The reason why we believe that Futuristic PreMillennialism is consistent with the Bible is because it has three main beliefs.
First, it accords with the consistent grammatical-historical method of interpretation in all things; including those things have to do with Prophecy.
This means that prophetic passages must be understood in their normal, natural sense.
As a result, futuristic premillennialism expects a literal fulfillment of all physical, national, land, and spiritual blessings in the Bible, including those to Israel and the nations.
Second, futuristic PreMillennialism maintains the biblical distinction between Israel and the Church and understands that the Bible does not confuse the two.
The identity of Israel in the Bible always includes physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
In fact, all seventy-seven uses of Israel in the New Testament refer to ethnic Israel.
Sometimes the term Israel is used of believing Jews only (Rom.
9:6; Gal.
6:16), but it is never used to speak of a spiritual community regardless of ethnicity.
Also, the church is never called Israel.
For example, in the book of Acts, Luke refers to the church nineteen times and to Israel twenty times, but he never calls the church Israel.
This compellingly demonstrates God’s intention in keeping these identities distinct.
Futuristic premillennialism rejects all forms of replacement theology or supersessionism, in which the church is viewed as the replacement or fulfillment of promises to national Israel in such a way that removes the theological significance of Israel in God’s plans.
It affirms the great importance of the church in God’s kingdom purposes but looks forward to a future fulfillment of God’s covenant promises to Israel and the nations in a future millennial kingdom.
Third, futuristic Premillennialism recognizes that the Scriptures present a coming fulfillment of Daniel’s seventieth week that is a seven year period of Tribulation and happens before Jesus returns to set up His Millennial Kingdom.
Now with that information in your mind and with the understanding of why we are Futuristic PreMillennials; because we take the Bible literally, because we believe that God’s covenant promises to Israel will be fulfilled and that the church did not replace Israel in God’s plan, and that the seventieth week of Daniel is a future event, I want you to understand the different vies of the Millennium.
The first view on the Millennium is what is called Amillennialism.
Amillennialism asserts that the millennium of Revelation 20 is being fulfilled spiritually in this present age between the two comings of Jesus and has nothing to do with an actual thousand years.
The term amillennialism is somewhat misleading.
The prefix a means “no.”
But those who hold to amillennialism are not saying that there is no millennium.
Instead, they claim that the millennial reign of Jesus and the saints is being realized now.
Thus, the millennium is currently occurring.
