Mercy on Methphi

Every line of this Bible speaks of Jesus Christ

Sinner before the Son of David

MethPhibosheth - To break in pieces, Shame

Shamed and rejected family

Every person from Adam and Eve has been also

He is the picture of a human life of shame and falling apart

He experienced a fall

Fall of Adam and Eve = Our fall has left us lame and falling apart

David searches Methphibosheth out

Christ has searched us out.

vs 4 - He was living in Lodebar (not a pasture) / Barren

vs 5 - he thinks David will kill him

How do you feel about God? What do you know about God and where?

Showing him kindness based on a covenant that was made long before he was ever born
