Oneness, the ultimate place of approval

Abraham and Isaac
Approval of you and me.
Approval is what sets off the Joy center in the brain.
We feel validated, legitimized, and worthy when we are approved.
Those of us with fathers who were absent, abusive, or distant may not have received approval.
What happens when we are not approved in our lives?
I fell into this category and it hurt me, and stunted my development. It wasn’t until a father began to show approval that I began to believe in myself in a significant way.
How does this affect our relationships, and our state of love?
The beginning of Jesus’ ministry was founded on God’s approval of His son. The enemy attacked that.
Jesus’ public miracles began in Canaan with his Mother showing total faith and trust.
As leaders and as disciplers of others, we need to get really good at lavishing people with much more approval than we do correction. Correction is entirely needed. It’s no good applauding someone as they head in the wrong direction. But their heart will need to know that they are already loved and approved.
Appropriate approval is like fuel on a fire. It causes it to burn brighter and hotter.

Seeking approval from the four loves

loving self for self. What does seeking approval look like?
Loving God for self, what does seeking approval look like?
Loving God for God, what does seeking approval look like?
Loving yourself for God, what does seeking approval look like?
Where do you think the most fruitful and righteous area to be seeking approval comes from? 4 of course.
What about seeking approval from others? Is there a place for that?
Can we seek approval in healthy ways?
Stage 4 is to love ourselves, and come to God and let Him love us, and let Him give us what we need to love ourselves, for HIS kingdom. So let’s do that.
