When we strive to love God and others, we must do so with God’s love. Our love isn’t strong enough, tainted as it is by sin. But with God, we can love!

therefore love one another—this is what happens when we are born of God, when we are in Christ.
Demostration of God’s love is his sending Jesus so that we’d have life through him.
not that we loved 1st but he loved us 1st.
In the same way God loves us, that’s how we love one another
